Job Title: SMB Inside Sales Representative

Location: Atlanta, GA or Hybrid – USA

Reports to: Director of SMB Operations

Department: Account Management

Job Type: Full Time, Exempt

Position Summary

Businesses that partner with Rubicon Global come in all shapes, sizes and market caps. As an account executive, you will generate sales with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate can exceed sales quotas. You must be detail-oriented and motivated. The account executive will work to achieve revenue and long-term account goals that align with company goals, while maintaining a satisfied relationship with the client.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a full sales pipeline from prospecting to close within the existing customer base.
  • Capitalize on new prospect leads.
  • Exceed sales goals and expectations for quota.
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients to discuss their needs.
  • Educate customers on service differentiation, pricing, training and value-added during the sales process.
  • Anticipate how decisions are made and persistently explore customers’ business needs.
  • Meet strict deadlines and respond in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 2 years of related experience, including sales and account management.
  • Experience in B2B sales preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports on training effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of program management.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information and supporting high-level strategic initiatives.

  • To facilitate working from home, and as a requirement for this role, the employee must provide reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job functions and technology setup conducive to remote work. The company laptop will be provided.
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace is required for maintaining productivity.
  • Collaboration with team members may occur through virtual meetings and communication platforms.
