We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

Please note this role is based on-site at our San Leandro Facility or our Brooklyn Navy Yard office.

The Wholesale Account Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding our hardware wholesale business. This position is responsible for growing our current buyer network, establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, and driving sales growth through strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the hardware market and a passion for building strong business relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and engage potential new wholesale clients to expand our buyer network and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction
  • Create and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and KPIs
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to maximize profit margins
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to adjust sales strategies and pricing models
  • Partner with the E-Commerce team to identify bulk buying opportunities and collaborate with the Facility and Data teams to improve internal processes
  • Evaluate inventory and strategize monetization opportunities, including bundling, bulk sales, and targeting specific market segments
  • Track sales activities and performance, providing regular reports and feedback to management on market conditions, client needs, and product demand

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Account Manager in the hardware, technology, or electronics sector
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with a focus on closing deals and maximizing profit margins
  • A creative problem-solver with a good business sense, able to break down complex situations and come up with smart solutions
  • Highly motivated, with impeccable work ethic who is willing to invest the time and do the work to exceed goals
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

About you

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sales Representative or Account Manager, preferably in the hardware, technology, or electronics sector
  • Highly competitive- hates to lose more than loves to win
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional problem-framing, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a proactive "can-do" mentality

  • Familiarity with tech products and understanding of the secondhand and refurbished electronics market

When we give an offer it is based on individual skills and experience, as well as how that stacks up against other employees in the role. All of our ranges account for growth within the role, so in most cases, you should expect to join closer to the entry point of the band. You will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The base range for the Wholesale Account Specialist is expected to be between $55,000-$60,000 with an On Target Earnings (OTE) between $75,000 and $80,000/year, including bonuses or commissions. Your exact offer may vary based on these factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package will also include comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401(k) plan.
