What you’ll be doing
As a Business Management and Accounting Specialist you’ll play a key role engaging directly with stake holders, clients and our staff to support HR/compliance functions, accounting and billing, financial reporting and special projects. An Ideal candidate will be a dynamic, organized, collaborative and responsible individual with strong relationship management, communication and accounting skills.
- Maintain accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances.
- Send invoices and account updates to clients electronically and on paper.
- Update our system with payment information and other financial data.
- Notify clients of upcoming or missed payment deadlines.
- Receive, sort, and track incoming payments.
- Address clients' billing questions and issues.
- Prepare reports and review billing activity for accuracy.
- Provide statistical reports on business activity and performance to stake holders.
- High level support for HR functions, including recruitment, retention and employee relations.
- Tracking & Reporting –Manage consistent metrics for measuring and reporting for all projects within the administrative team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent accounting experience.
- Experience with AR/ Billing/ Bank reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of general accounting practices
- QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online, Outlook, Word, Excel required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, willing to work in a fast-paced, team atmosphere
- Comfortable receiving direction from multiple individuals.
- Full-time on-site from our office in South Norwalk CT.
