Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Procurement to join the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) team. The candidate is expected to support the team by providing procurement services for operational RNG sites which include tactical purchasing, strategic sourcing, implementation of procurement policies and procedures, and standardization of supply chain across the operational fleet. The Senior Manager, Operations Procurement, is expected to work closely with Operations, Asset Management, and EHSteams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations of the RNG sites by creating and managing a robust supply chain across the enterprise. He/she will also be managing a team of Procurement Specialists and be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle on assigned RNG sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement procurement policies and procedures across the RNG business; ensure compliance and champion such policies and procedures for RNG Operations to ensure high rate of adoption
  • Perform both tactical purchasing and strategic sourcing within Sage Intacct and Maximo with Procurement Specialists
  • Manage a team of Procurement Specialists and be responsible for delivering Procure to Pay (P2P) services to the stakeholders
  • Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP sourcing events with suppliers
  • Work with Legal to negotiate and establish framework agreements with strategic suppliers
  • Conduct vendor performance management with strategic suppliers
  • Develop and establish approved vendors and contractors
  • Identify value creation opportunities to reduce operational expense (OPEX) and increase capital efficiency (CAPEX)
  • Develop and establish spare parts inventory and purchasing strategy with Operations
  • Resolve any deficiency in goods/services delivered/rendered by vendors for Operations
  • Oversee warranty claims process with contractors and vendors for Operations
  • Lead any continuous improvement opportunities within Procurement
  • Other duties as assigned based on business needs

Experience & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in supply chain, engineering, or business
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of operations procurement experiences within energy industry; renewable, oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to create supply chain solutions and deliver value
  • Strong negotiation, organization, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Effective at creating, summarizing, and presenting information logically for executive decision making
  • Fluency in ERP – Sage Intacct and/or Maximo
  • Fluency in Microsoft Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Salary:

  • $145,000 – $155,000
