Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Development team. The candidate is expected to support the team by supporting the business development team by helping to manage budgets, project materials, schedules, financial models and help the team stay organized and efficient.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage third party resources, proposals, contracts, timelines, budgets 
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate project meetings and track project progress 
  • Create and track project schedules and milestones 
  • Research utility tariffs, government incentives and environmental regulations 
  • Research feedstock resources for various waste to energy projects 
  • Maintain detailed and organized files, documents and database management 
  • Participate in proposal, planning preparation and administration of new business 
  • Prepare purchase orders and work orders for projects 
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings, tracking deliverables 
  • Compiling and preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings, RFPs and approvals 
  • Run financial models and help evaluate project economics 
  • Research competitors and conduct competitive analysis 
  • Research and identify potential strategic partners

Experience & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics or business 
  • 2-4 years of experience in renewables development or similar field 
  • General understanding of the renewable energy and gas industry
  • Strong organization, problem solving and communication skills 
  • Self starter with strategic skills with an ability to balance and prioritize competing interests 
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;  
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills 
  • Effective at creating, summarizing, and presenting information logically for executive decision making 
  • Knowledge of finance and business concepts 
  • Fluency in MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Asana and Salesforce  

Salary:

  • $73,000.00 – $121,000.00/year
