The account manager is responsible for managing and growing sales and market share in the greater NYC area in coordination with the local Battle dealers. Lead the development and execution of the sales strategy for the respective area of responsibility, in support of the Company’s annual plan. Achieving results through the current dealer and distribution network, as well as identifying new sales channels that help achieve company objectives will be critical. This role is responsible for providing leadership and partnership that supports optimal sales team collaboration, sales channel development, customer retention and expansion. Participates in pricing strategies by providing the voice of the customer and market

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- 3+ years of progressive sales experience in the commercial and vocational vehicle industry.

- Results driven, self-starter with a passion for winning.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

- Experience in developing sales plans, Customer Relationship Management, selling in high growth industry.

- Must have the capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in the organization.

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their supervisor immediately.
