Role Overview

One of the key innovations Cyclyx is driving in the recycling industry is the development of a robust and efficient supply chain for the movement and processing of waste plastic. To this end we are seeking additional support developing and managing our Supply Chain Systems.

The ideal Logistics Analyst candidate will have experience of successfully managing logistics activities in a supply chain. They will work collaboratively with individuals and teams across the organization to maintain an effective flow of material between vendors, operations, and customers in support of the company’s strategic objectives.

Role Objectives

• Interface with various departments and logistics providers to ensure the timely movement of materials
• Support both internal and external customers
• Maintain supply chain metrics to measure performance
• Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards
• Ensure documentation is received and stored to maintain ISCC+ compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience/Knowledge

• Experience managing logistics activities in a supply chain
• Experience with vendor communications
• Experience communicating with external customers preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
• Experience communicating and collaborating efficiently and effectively with remote team members

Education/Training

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields preferred but may be substituted with a combination of experience and education
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Solid knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
• Knowledge of TMS desired

Position Mechanics

Reports to: Cyclyx Logistics Manager

Type: Exempt, Salaried; full time

Work Hours: Flexible, but generally 8:00-5:00

Staff: None

Location: Houston

Work environment: professional office or home office

Travel: <10%

Physical Demands is substantially that of an office environment

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status.
